Private Client Tax Compliance Manager £55,000 + Excellent Benefits | London | Hybrid Working Are you an experienced Private Client Tax professional looking for more than just another compliance role? This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded, people-focused practice where you'll have genuine ownership of your client portfolio, develop long-term client relationships, and work alongside a supportive team that values your expertise and input. The RoleYou'll take responsibility for a varied portfolio of private clients, including high-net-worth individuals, directors, landlords, sole traders, trusts and partnerships. Acting as their trusted adviser, you'll oversee the full compliance process while providing proactive tax advice that adds real value. This is a role where you'll build lasting relationships with clients, become their first point of contact, and enjoy the autonomy to manage your portfolio with the support of experienced Partners and a collaborative team. Your work will include: • Managing the end-to-end Self Assessment compliance process • Preparing and reviewing complex personal tax returns • Advising clients on income tax, capital gains tax, investment and foreign income • Managing partnership and trust tax returns • Handling P11Ds, PSAs and HMRC correspondence • Identifying tax planning opportunities, reliefs and allowances • Supporting clients with residency matters, PAYE coding issues, capital gains calculations and inheritance tax considerations • Working closely with Partners on more complex advisory matters • Mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to the continued development of the tax team About YouYou'll already have a strong background in Private Client Tax Compliance gained within a UK accountancy practice and be confident managing your own client portfolio. We're looking for someone who enjoys building trusted client relationships, communicates confidently, and takes pride in delivering a first-class service.
