Procurement Administrator
Akari Care are keen to speak to Procurement Administrators who would be interested in joining our team at the Leeds Support Centre, based in the centre of Leeds.
Akari Care provide residential and nursing care services to the elderly, operating 31 homes nationally. The Procurement Administrator will be the main point of contact for any procurement related enquiries and requests raised by our care homes.

Overview of role and responsibilities:
• Daily management of Procurement email inbox, picking up and resolving queries from our Homes. These queries span a wide range of topics, from delivery issues, order issues to pricing enquiries
• First line telephone support to Akaris care homes and external suppliers
• Raising and receipting Purchase Orders
• Ensuring external suppliers provide timely responses to requests for quotations.
• New supplier Setups and implementations
• Ongoing governance of existing suppliers through maintaining the audit and insurance register
• Management and update of the Procurement system, adding products to the catalogue and updating pricing
• Maintenance of Procurement trackers and registers
• Oversight of company fleet, ensuring compliance with MOT/Service requirements
• General administrative support to the Procurement Manager and wider Property and Procurement function
• Preparation of post and packages to be mailed to Homes
