Qualified Social Worker, Mental Health Team, Blackpool Council Pay rate to £30.66 per hour Contract role Vitalis are recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to work in a Mental Health Team in Blackpool Council. We are a co-located team working with older adults with various mental health issues and their carers. Working alongside our health colleagues in an integrated way of working that is well established within the team. We are committed to a joint approach to service planning, delivery and development. For Older Adults, you will provide multi-disciplinary needs and risk assessments, care planning and provide long term social work support within the framework of the Care Act 2014 and in line with the national agenda driving the provision of care to older adults with a mental health problem. You will work within the framework of the Care Act 2014 and undertake timely assessments and reviews. This will be a short-term position of 14 weeks and Mental Health experience with older adults or an understanding of mental health legislation is preferable Don’t forget, if this role isn’t the perfect fit, we’re confident we can find one that is.
