We're looking for a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to join our high-performing Westminster Planned team. About the Role As Quantity Surveyor, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day commercial control, reporting and management of one or more contracts, ensuring strong financial performance, effective risk management and commercial compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with operational teams, procurement and clients, you'll play a critical role in maximising contract profitability, managing commercial risks and driving successful project outcomes, whilst providing effective line management and development support to a member of the commercial team. As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial performance of contracts from award through to final account, ensuring projects are delivered profitably and in line with contractual requirements. This includes producing and maintaining CVRs, forecasts, cash flow forecasts and commercial reports, while managing applications, valuations, invoicing and cash collection activities. You will oversee subcontractor accounts, payments and contractual compliance, ensuring all commercial obligations are fulfilled and risks are effectively managed. You'll have a strong track record of managing CVRs, forecasts and final accounts, with the commercial awareness to drive value, control costs and support successful contract delivery. Experience working on planned works programmes is highly desirable, and knowledge of fire risk assessment (FRA) works and kitchen and bathroom (K&B) refurbishment projects would be advantageous. Above all, you'll be a commercially focused professional who can confidently manage multiple priorities, build effective stakeholder relationships and contribute to the continued success of our commercial team. Due to nature of the role, you must hold a valid UK driving licence.
