Job Title: Receptionist (Temporary) Location: Leeds City Centre Pay Rate: £13.50 – £14.00 per hour (depending on experience) Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch) Duration: 3 weeks initially (with strong potential for a longer-term position) About the Role We are looking for a polished, professional, and proactive Receptionist to join the front-of-house team at Client's modern Leeds office. Representing a leading international law firm, you will be the first point of contact for high-profile clients, visitors, and internal stakeholders. This role is initially a 3-week contract to cover immediate business needs, but there is a distinct opportunity for this to transition into a longer-term placement for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities • Front of House Excellence: Provide a warm, highly professional welcome to all clients, visitors, and staff members. • Switchboard Management: Efficiently answer, screen, and transfer incoming calls, taking accurate messages where required. • Meeting Room Coordination: Manage the booking system for meeting spaces, ensuring rooms are kept immaculate and properly set up. • Visitor Management: Issue visitor passes, manage the sign-in log, and strictly adhere to the building's security protocols. • Facilities & Admin Support: Coordinate incoming/outgoing mail, arrange couriers, and assist with general administrative duties to keep the reception area running smoothly. What We Are Looking For • Professional Services Experience: Ideally, you will have experience working as a receptionist within a law firm. Candidates with solid experience in other corporate or high-end professional environments (finance, banking, corporate HQ) will also be highly considered. • Impeccable Standards: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a highly professional presentation, and a calm, confident demeanor under pressure. • Reliability: Outstanding punctuality and dedication to maintaining a seamless front-of-house service during core hours. • Tech Savvy: Comfortable using modern switchboard systems, MS Office (Outlook, Word), and room booking software.
