Role: Residential Paralegal Location: Glasgow Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 Job Type: Full Time | Permanent Are you an experienced Residential Paralegal looking for a fresh challenge? I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded legal practice in Glasgow that is looking to appoint an experienced Residential Paralegal to join its busy and successful Property team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative and welcoming environment where you'll work alongside experienced legal professionals, handling a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion. The Role As a Residential Paralegal, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters while providing an efficient, professional and client-focused service throughout every stage of the transaction. Your responsibilities will include: • Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from initial instruction through to completion. • Handling sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of title and new build transactions. • Drafting and reviewing legal documentation. • Examining title deeds and carrying out title investigations. • Preparing and submitting registration documents to Registers of Scotland. • Liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders, estate agents and other third parties. • Preparing settlement statements and completion documentation. • Ensuring transactions progress efficiently while meeting agreed timescales. • Maintaining accurate file management and compliance throughout each transaction. • Providing clear legal guidance and excellent client care throughout the conveyancing process. Essential Skills & Experience • Previous experience working as a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal within a Scottish law firm. • Strong knowledge of Scottish residential conveyancing procedures. • Experience managing your own caseload with minimal supervision. • Excellent organisational and time management skills. • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders. • High attention to detail and excellent drafting skills. • Ability to prioritise workloads within a busy environment. • Proficient using Microsoft Office and case management systems.
