Sales Administrative Assistant
About the RoleWe are looking for a proactive and organised Sales Administrative Assistant to join our UK Sales team. This business support and development role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in sales within a premium consumer goods business.
Working closely with the Head of Sales, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the UK business plan through administration, customer research, CRM management, and day-to-day sales support.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Commercial Support
• Manage and maintain the company's CRM database, ensuring customer and contact information is accurate and up to date.
• Research prospective customers and add relevant information to the CRM.
• Use LinkedIn and other research tools to support lead generation and prospect targeting.
• Maintain organised digital sales records and client files.
• Coordinate diaries and schedule meetings and events for the sales team.
• Maintain accurate business records and documentation.
• Answer incoming telephone enquiries and provide office support when the sales team is out of the office.
• Attend client meetings alongside the sales team when required, providing administrative and commercial support.
• Produce reports and sales data for the Head of Sales.
• Liaise with the logistics team to coordinate stock availability and customer deliveries.
About YouWe're looking for someone who is highly organised, enthusiastic, and enjoys working in a fast-paced commercial environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Previous experience in a sales support, business development, account management, or commercial administration role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Comfortable using CRM systems (HubSpot experience is advantageous).
• Confident working with senior stakeholders and external clients.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
• Experience within a premium or luxury FMCG brand.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar prospecting tools.
