Scrub Nurse / ODP Location: Glasgow Salary: Up to £43,000 (DOE) Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Sector: Private Healthcare The Role We are currently recruiting for a Scrub Nurse / Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) to join a well-established private hospital in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a skilled theatre team, supporting a wide range of surgical procedures in a modern and well-equipped environment. You will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of patient care and ensuring the smooth running of theatre lists. Key Responsibilities • Prepare operating theatres for a range of surgical procedures • Work as a scrub practitioner across various specialities • Assist surgeons and the wider theatre team during procedures • Maintain sterile technique and ensure infection control standards are met • Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are correctly handled and accounted for • Deliver safe, high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative pathway Requirements • NMC Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered ODP • Previous experience working in a scrub role • Exposure to a range of surgical specialities (desirable) • Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and theatre practice • Excellent teamwork and communication skills • Flexible and adaptable approach to work Benefits • Competitive salary up to £43,000 (depending on experience) • Private healthcare benefits • Ongoing training and development opportunities • Supportive and collaborative working environment • Opportunities for career progression Please contact Jade at FIND Medical
