Job description

SEN Teaching Assistant West Leeds Long term/Permanent £70-£85 per day Registration and Interviews taking place ASAP “The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you.” -B.B. King Teaching assistants support teachers and help children with their educational and social development, both in and out of the classroom. Your role will be to support pupils with additional needs, whilst also working in small groups with other children in School. The school we are recruiting for require a Teaching Assistant to support two children across Reception and Year 1, who need additional support. You will need to quickly develop a relationship with the pupils and staff, to ensure you can make an impact with the children and the rest of the class. The students in question spend some time each week in the resourced provision at School. This usually happens when the classroom becomes too intense for them.
