Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

Accounts Payable Specialist Media Agency | London Bridge | Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days WFH) | 35k - 40k An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join a leading media planning and buying agency in Central London. Working as part of a collaborative finance team, you'll take ownership of your own supplier portfolio and play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the accounts payable function. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous media agency finance experience who is confident using MediaOcean (DDS / MX / DS Media / DS Accounting) and enjoys working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Responsibilities • Process supplier invoices accurately using the MediaOcean accounting system • Reconcile supplier accounts against monthly statements • Investigate and resolve supplier and invoice queries • Prepare and process regular BACS payment runs • Maintain and post bank transactions • Complete weekly bank reconciliations across multiple currencies • Maintain and update the nominal ledger • Create and maintain supplier records • Manage the shared Accounts Payable inbox • Build strong working relationships with client teams and shared financial services • Process employee expenses and overhead payments • Assist with training and supporting new and existing team members • Support the wider finance team with ad hoc financial administration About You • Previous Accounts Payable experience, ideally within a media planning and buying agency • Hands-on experience using the MediaOcean suite, including DDS, MX, DS Media and DS Accounting (essential) • Strong numerical and reconciliation skills • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail • Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and use initiative • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Due to the large number of applicants we receive from web-based job advertisements, it is the policy of RedHat only to contact candidates that have the relevant skillset for our current portfolio of clients.
