As part of its next growth phase, the business is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead the development of strategic relationships with aircraft lessors and asset management organisations across Ireland and the wider international market. This is far more than a traditional sales role. It’s an opportunity to become the commercial face of a growing organisation within one of the aviation industry's most influential markets. Working directly alongside the CEO, you’ll have the autonomy to shape the business development strategy, influence long-term commercial direction and build partnerships with some of the world’s leading aircraft leasing companies. We’re looking to speak with commercially driven aviation professionals who already understand the aircraft leasing landscape and have built trusted relationships within the sector. Whether your background is within aircraft leasing, aviation aftermarket services, MRO or asset management, you’ll bring the credibility, network and commercial expertise to identify opportunities, develop strategic partnerships and deliver significant revenue growth. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement a proactive business development strategy targeting aircraft leasing companies and aviation asset management organisations across Ireland • Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with key decision-makers, including Chief Technical Officers, Technical Directors and Asset Management teams • Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities, delivering against ambitious revenue growth targets • Promote and sell a range of aviation aftermarket services including Component Support, Technical Project Management, Asset Management and Aircraft & Engine Remarketing • Lead commercial negotiations and manage complex sales opportunities from initial introduction through to contract award • Manage the Request For Proposals (RFP) process, collaborating closely with technical and legal teams to deliver successful commercial outcomes • Support customers throughout aircraft lease transitions by providing tailored aftermarket and asset management solutions • Identify opportunities to maximise aircraft and component values through remarketing, asset recovery and end-of-life management solutions • Represent the business at industry meetings, conferences and networking events to further strengthen market presence • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM records and pipeline reporting Key Skills: • Previous experience working within an aircraft leasing company, aviation aftermarket, MRO or aircraft asset management environment is essential • Proven track record of winning new business and achieving commercial sales targets within the aviation sector • Strong understanding of aircraft component supply, lease transitions, asset management and aircraft or engine remarketing • Excellent commercial negotiation and relationship building skills • An established professional network within the Irish aircraft leasing market would be highly advantageous • Strong presentation, communication and influencing skills • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while managing multiple opportunities • Excellent organisational skills with strong commercial awareness Personal Profile: • A confident and driven business developer who enjoys identifying and securing new opportunities • Passionate about the aviation industry with a strong commercial mindset • Professional, credible and able to build relationships at senior executive level • Results-focused with the resilience and determination to exceed ambitious targets • Highly motivated, proactive and capable of working autonomously • A collaborative team player who enjoys contributing to wider business growth • Ambitious and excited by the opportunity to influence the success of a growing international organisation Salary & Benefits: • Highly competitive base salary (depending on experience) • Lucrative performance-based bonus scheme • Pension Contribution • 25 days’ annual leave plus Bank Holidays • Professional development and ongoing career progression • High-profile role with genuine opportunities for future commercial leadership • Full-time, permanent position • Based in Ireland, with Dublin preferred If you’re an experienced aviation business development professional looking for an opportunity to work within an ambitious and growing organisation, we’d love to hear from you.
