Job description

Senior Finance Manager East Lancashire | On-site with Flexible Working £70,000-£80,000 + Benefits Axon Moore are exclusively partnering with a well-established international brand to recruit a high calibre, technically strong Senior Finance Manager to join their high performing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys technical accounting, financial reporting and leading key finance processes within a fast-paced international business. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance and audit delivery across multiple UK entities while helping to drive continuous improvement across the finance function. You'll take ownership of financial reporting across six UK legal entities, working closely with senior finance leaders, operational teams and external advisors. Key responsibilities include: • Delivering accurate month-end management accounts, P&L and balance sheet reporting • Leading the year-end external audit process • Preparing statutory accounts and consolidation schedules • Managing fixed assets, leases, intangible assets and balance sheet reconciliations • Preparing corporation tax schedules and supporting R&D tax relief • Driving improvements to financial controls, reporting and finance processes You'll be a qualified accountant (ACA preferred, although ACCA/CIMA will also be considered) with experience gained within a complex or multinational environment. You'll also have: • Strong technical accounting and statutory reporting knowledge • Experience managing external audits • Excellent Excel and financial systems skills • Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail • The ability to build relationships across finance and the wider business This is a fantastic opportunity to join a globally recognised organisation that offers a collaborative culture, exposure to an international finance function and genuine opportunities for professional development.
