Job description

Our Global Award Winning Client seeks an experienced Senior Geoscientist with the following must have skills and experience: Min of 5 years of commercial experience in a similar Geoscientist role. About the role: Senior Geoscientist acting as an Integrated Sensor Specialist, supporting the delivery of integrated UHR3D geophysical surveys for Offshore Wind, Carbon Capture Storage and Well Site Survey projects. This role is to provide technical leadership of integrated sensor workflows, systems, and deliverables covering multi-beam echosounder, side scan sonar, magnetometer, and sub-bottom profiler datasets. The role is to both deliver consistent, high-quality, and client-aligned outputs on assigned projects, and driving best practices, quality frameworks, and continuous improvement across the survey portfolio. Required skills and experience include: • Strong expertise in the processing and interpretation of integrated geophysical datasets (MBES, SSS, magnetometer, SBP) • Highly desirable is technical knowledge and working experience of data acquisition systems and techniques • Experience developing department integrated management systems best practices, standards and processes, and their implementation within a project team environment. • Strong understanding of quality management systems, QA/QC frameworks, and data governance • Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, QGIS and Oasis montaj, sonarwiz, MBES software. • Ability to perform QC/QA on the range of integrated sensor products • Expertise in technical report writing • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills • Structured, analytical, and delivery-focused This role is offer a very competitive salary with excellent benefits Candidates must have excellent communication skills and be eligible to live and work in the YUK without any restrictions Please note only candidates with the above essential skills will be considered.
