Senior Lettings Negotiator / Assistant Lettings Manager
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 basic + Uncapped OTE + Pool Car Available
Location: Hove
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm (Occasional Saturday cover only)
Driving Licence: Full UK Driving Licence Required

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a highly regarded independent estate agency based in the heart of Hove. This is an exciting role for an experienced Senior Lettings Negotiator who is ready to step into an Assistant Lettings Manager position, or an existing Assistant Manager looking for a fresh challenge.
Working within a friendly, professional and successful office, you'll play a key role in driving the lettings department forward. This is a hands-on position where you'll support the day-to-day running of the branch, lead by example and help grow the business while managing and mentoring one member of the team.

Key Responsibilities
• Carrying out market appraisals and winning new lettings instructions.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords, tenants and prospective clients.
• Supporting the day-to-day management of the lettings office.
• Leading, mentoring and motivating one member of the team.
• Negotiating lets and progressing tenancies through to completion.
• Generating new business through networking, referrals and proactive canvassing.
• Providing expert advice on rental values and current market conditions.
• Ensuring compliance with current lettings legislation and industry best practice.
• Delivering exceptional customer service while achieving individual and branch targets.
Skills & Experience Required
• Previous experience within residential lettings.
• Proven experience carrying out market appraisals and winning new instructions.
• A successful track record in generating new business.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Confident building long-term relationships with landlords and tenants.
• A proactive, self-motivated and commercially aware approach.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience would be advantageous.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
