An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Maintenance Engineer to join a leading building services provider on a prestigious high-end residential development in Victoria.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer looking to take on a senior, hands-on role, supporting the day-to-day operation of a flagship site while ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical building services.
• Act as the senior engineer on site, providing technical support and guidance to the engineering team.
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all plant and associated building services equipment.
• Perform fault finding, repairs, and plant isolations in line with site procedures and current regulations.
• Ensure all maintenance and remedial works are completed in accordance with statutory compliance requirements.
• Assist with the coordination and supervision of specialist contractors on site.
• Complete all relevant site documentation, including logbooks, RAMS, permits to work, and maintenance records.
• Liaise with client representatives and support the Account Manager with the day-to-day running of the contract.
• Raise, update, and close maintenance tasks using PDA and CMMS systems.
• Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures.
Candidate Requirements:
• Fully qualified in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Installations (City & Guilds, NVQ, EAL, or equivalent), with current Wiring Regulations knowledge.
• Previous experience working within a high-end residential or luxury hotel environment is essential.
• Proven experience as a Senior Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or Electrical Engineer within a building services environment.
• Strong knowledge of planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and fault diagnosis.
• Experience working with permits to work, RAMS, and safe systems of work.
• IOSH or NEBOSH qualification is desirable.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Victoria.
Salary & Benefits
• £53,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
