Sheet Metal Worker (Fabricating / Welding) £18 - £22 Per Hour + 33 Days Holiday + Days Only + Early Friday Finish + Christmas Bonus + Overtime + Free Parking Dartford Are you an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator or Welder looking to join a well-established engineering company, working on a diverse range of bespoke fabrication projects across commercial, residential, industrial and architectural sectors? On offer is the opportunity to join a highly skilled fabrication team with over 60 years of industry experience, manufacturing everything from one-off bespoke fabrications to large-scale specialist installations. Working from a fully equipped workshop, the company mainly focus on Architectural projects. You will be responsible for fabricating and welding bespoke sheet metal components from engineering drawings, using a range of materials including mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass and copper. Thickness of metal will range from 1 - 10 mm. The suitable candidate will have strong experience in sheet metal fabrication alongside proficiency in MIG and TIG welding. The Role • Fabricate bespoke sheet metal components from CAD and engineering drawings • MIG and TIG weld mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass and copper • Operate fabrication machinery including press brakes • Finish and forming metal components whilst ensuring product quality • Monday to Thursday, 7 - 3:30, Friday, 7- 2:30 The Person • Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding • Previous experience in light sheet metal fabrication If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV.
