Job description

• To develop, review, and implement clinical protocols, operational procedures, and service guidelines that support the effective delivery of community-based services and ensure adherence to best practice standards. • To oversee and monitor the quality of delegated activities, providing guidance, feedback, and professional oversight to colleagues while maintaining high standards of clinical governance. • To act as an advocate for patients and carers, using effective communication and negotiation skills to ensure their views, preferences, and needs are represented throughout their healthcare journey. • To contribute to workforce development through the delivery of induction programmes, mentorship, clinical supervision, and educational support for Community Health Assistants, Practitioners, and other healthcare professionals. • To participate in service development initiatives, supporting the introduction of new ways of working, contributing to policy implementation, and promoting continuous improvement across the service. • To ensure compliance with organisational policies relating to confidentiality, information governance, equality and diversity, health and safety, and risk management, maintaining a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff at all times.
