Job description

The post holder will provide high-quality clinical care across the Trauma & Orthopaedic service, supporting the delivery of both elective and trauma care at Warwick Hospital. Key responsibilities include: • Providing clinical care for patients in outpatient clinics, inpatient wards and theatre. • Assessing, diagnosing and managing patients with elective and traumatic orthopaedic conditions. • Participating in elective and trauma operating lists and consultant-led ward rounds. • Supporting the management of acute trauma admissions and Emergency Department referrals. • Working collaboratively with Consultants and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective and patient-centred care. • Participating in the on-call rota and contributing to service resilience. • Supporting the teaching and supervision of junior medical staff and participating in clinical audit, governance and quality improvement activities. • Maintaining accurate clinical records and complying with Trust policies, GMC standards and mandatory training requirements.
