Senior Student Immigration Compliance Officer 37 hours per week - Talbot Campus University Are you an expert in UK student immigration compliance with a keen eye for detail and a passion for supporting students? We are looking for a Student Immigration Compliance Officer to play a key role in ensuring compliance with UKVI regulations while delivering an excellent service to students and staff. Key Responsibilities • Lead on student immigration compliance and engagement monitoring, ensuring adherence to UKVI regulations. • Manage reporting through the UKVI Sponsorship Management System (SMS) and act as a Level 1 User. • Provide expert advice and guidance to staff and students on student visa and immigration matters. • Monitor student attendance, engagement, registrations and changes in circumstances. • Analyse compliance data, identify trends, and produce regular management reports. • Develop and deliver training to colleagues across the University. • Support audits, maintain accurate records, and contribute to continuous service improvements. • Act as a key contact with UKVI and external sector bodies where required. ABOUT YOU • Strong knowledge of UK student immigration legislation and compliance requirements within Higher Education - this is essential. • Experience providing advice, guidance and support in a customer-focused environment. • Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills. • Exceptional attention to detail and confidence working with complex data. • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex regulations clearly to a range of stakeholders. • Experience with student record systems and UKVI Sponsorship Management System (desirable). What We're Looking For We're seeking a highly organised and proactive individual who can manage competing priorities, work collaboratively across teams, and maintain the highest standards of accuracy, confidentiality and service excellence.
