We are seeking a meticulous and organised Supply Planner to join a leading team within the FMCG industry. This role, based in Bristol, will focus on ensuring the efficient management of inventory and supply chain processes to meet business demands. Description • Develop and maintain accurate supply plans to meet customer demand efficiently. • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid stock shortages or surpluses. • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any supply-related issues. • Analyse sales forecasts and trends to optimise stock levels and reduce waste. • Maintain accurate records of inventory and supply chain activities. • Prepare reports and provide insights to support decision-making within the procurement & supply chain department. • Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain process. • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations regarding inventory and procurement practices. Profile A successful Supply Planner should have: • Proven experience in supply planning or a similar role within the FMCG industry. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate forecasting and reporting. • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams. • A solid understanding of inventory management principles and practices. • The ability to adapt to changing demands and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
