EYFS Teaching Assistant (Level 3) Nelson, Lancashire Start Date: September 2026 Monday to Friday | 08:30am - 3:30pm £16.35 per hour Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant Required We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Nelson from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Early Years professional who is committed to supporting young children during their crucial early stages of learning and development. The Role As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will: • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative learning activities. • Assist children with their educational, social and emotional development. • Provide both whole-class and small-group support. • Create a positive, nurturing and inclusive learning environment. • Encourage children's independence, confidence and communication skills. • Support with observations, assessments and learning journeys where required. Requirements To be considered for this role, you must: • Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification. • Have experience working within an EYFS setting. • Demonstrate a good understanding of the EYFS Framework. • Be caring, patient and enthusiastic. • Possess strong communication and teamwork skills. • Have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
