Job description

Are you a confident and bubbly Receptionist who loves being the welcoming face of a business? This could be the perfect role for you. We’re looking for an outgoing and personable Receptionist and Events Support to join a collaborative boutique investment firm on a part-time basis, 4 days a week. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with 2–5 years’ receptionist experience who is warm, calm under pressure and confident working with senior stakeholders, guests and event attendees. Whilst the core hours are between 4pm to 9pm (Monday-Thursday), you’ll play a key role in supporting the firm’s breakfast and evening events, so the ideal candidate will be flexible and proactive in supporting the firm's events needs when required. The role is ideal for someone who has other pursuits outside of work such as acting, yoga or a small business, who is looking for a professional part-time position with variety. You’ll need to have First Aid and Fire Marshal training, along with a minimum of 2–5 years’ experience as a receptionist. Investment sector experience would be a bonus. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Managing the reception area and warmly greeting guests as the calm, confident face of the company • Coordinating meeting rooms and assisting with day-to-day reception duties in a polished, organised and proactive way • Supporting breakfast and evening events, including welcoming attendees and helping everything run smoothly What we need from you: • First Aid and Fire Marshal training is essential • Bubbly, outgoing and confident personality, with a calm and professional approach • 2–5 years’ experience as a receptionist, ideally within a corporate or client-facing environment • Comfortable supporting events and able to work flexibly in line with event needs 4-month contract starting in September.
