Transactional Finance Lead

Your new role Transactional Finance Lead (Systems & AP) Permanent£44,000 - £52,000 East London 3 days in the office; 2 from home Public Sector Organisation Key responsibilities • Lead and develop a transactional finance team, promoting high performance and continuous improvement • Take ownership of financial systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and effective system use • Oversee the delivery of accurate and timely payments, maintaining strong financial controls • Support audit processes, risk management, and fraud prevention activities • Provide guidance on statutory and regulatory requirements including VAT, CIS, and IR35 • Produce financial reports and analysis to support decision-making • Manage month-end and year-end processes, including reconciliations • Work closely with stakeholders to improve and embed best practice across purchase-to-pay processes What you'll need to succeed • Part Qualified or AAT Level 4 • Experience working in a similar role • Experience in Finance Operations and ERP Systems • Strong knowledge of P2P processes • Team leadership experience • Have experience working in the public sector What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
