QTS Teacher Required – 1:1 Tuition (In-Person)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Teacher (QTS) to provide 1:1 tuition for a child currently out of school. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to a young learner’s education and wellbeing.
Role Details
• Location: In-person (local area)
• Pay: £35 per hour
• Hours: Flexible – part-time and full-time opportunities available
? Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging Maths and English sessions aligned with the National Curriculum
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs
• Assess progress, track development, and adjust strategies accordingly
• Build a positive, supportive learning environment to re-engage the pupil
• Liaise effectively with:
• Local Authority
• Case workers and professionals
• Parents/carers
• Provide reports and updates on pupil progress
Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
• Experience working with children with additional needs or those out of mainstream education (desirable)
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
