Business Manager - Investment / Energy & Infrastructure

Your new role As Manager within the International Business team, you will play a key role in overseeing and supporting the performance of a global investment portfolio. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will provide financial and operational insight across international assets, working closely with senior stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.You will take ownership of a suite of portfolio monitoring tools, enhancing and developing reporting frameworks to track performance against budgets, forecasts, and acquisition cases. You will also support the production of high-quality materials for senior leadership, including Executive Committee (EXCO) reporting and regional performance reviews.This role offers excellent exposure to both the operational and investment sides of the business, including portfolio performance, financial analysis, and strategic initiatives such as bolt-on acquisitions. Key Responsibilities • Maintain and enhance performance monitoring tools across a global investment portfolio • Analyse financial performance against budget, forecast, and investment assumptions • Review Board and Committee materials from portfolio companies to extract key insights • Support the preparation of monthly EXCO packs and quarterly regional review materials • Monitor key operational indicators, including health and safety and business performance KPIs • Provide analytical support on investment-related activities, including bolt-on acquisitions and business planning • Engage with international stakeholders to ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting • Support annual budgeting processes and international business reviews, including occasional travel What you'll need to succeed • Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Finance, Economics, Business) • Professional qualification in corporate finance, private equity, M&A, or related (e.g. ACA, CFA, ACCA) • Minimum 5 years' experience within financial services, investment, or infrastructure sectors • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with a solid understanding of accounting principles • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities What you'll get in return • Opportunity to work within a leading global investment platform • Exposure to senior leadership and international portfolio management • Involvement in high-profile investment and strategic initiatives • Collaborative, high-performing environment • Competitive salary and benefits package • International travel opportunities What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
