Job description

Are you experienced in facilities management and ready to oversee the smooth running of an office environment? Do you have a background in liaising with contractors and managing 3rd party suppliers? We are supporting an established and reputable employer who pride themselves on ensuring staff work in a fully operational and efficient working environment. We are looking for a Facilities Supervisor to join the team on a permanent basis. In this role, you'll be the go-to person ensuring that their Bristol office remains a safe, functional, and welcoming space for staff and visitors alike. DAY TO DAY: • Coordinating maintenance, managing vendors, overseeing health and safety compliance • Supporting logistical operations, deliveries of office equipment, supplies and visitors, ensuring a professional approach at all times • Liaising with various departments to anticipate needs and deliver efficient solutions, keeping the office environment operating flawlessly • Supporting facilities manager re energy management and environmental ideas and programmes, complying with company policies and adhering to external legislation • Keeping up to date with facilities expertise and being aware of any imperative changes as they become compulsory • Acting as a key point of contact for the department and dealing with day to day queries / requests from staff • Working within a wider regional facilities and ensuring adequate cover and provision is in place at all times WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE: • Previous experience in facilities or office management • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities • Ability to manage multiple priorities and vendors effectively • Keen eye for health and safety compliance and procedures • Experience within a professional services environment is a bonus AND FOR YOU: • 25 days holiday plus BH • Employee assistance package, extended parental leave • Private healthcare once probation completed • Volunteering initiatives / social events • Extended career / professional development
