General Operative

A General Operative is required for a manufacturing company in the Aldridge area. You will be responsible for manually handling pallets and stock, primarily foam insulation and associated components. The duties of the role include; • Palletising foam insulation boards and similar • Stacking, banding and wrapping of materials • Getting orders ready for dispatch • Feeding materials to the machine operators • Operating machinery to cut foam to size If successful, you will be trained up to drive counterbalance forklift trucks. Prior experience is beneficial but not required.
