Job description

Interim Workday Reporting Specialist 6-Month Contract | Up to £700 per day | Hybrid – Northwest An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Workday Reporting Specialist to join a well-established, multi-site organisation on an initial six-month interim assignment. This role has been created to accelerate a major self-service reporting transformation across the finance function and wider business. Working closely with Finance, Commercial teams and the internal Workday function, you'll lead the design and implementation of a suite of intuitive Workday dashboards, replacing manual reporting processes and empowering stakeholders with real-time insights. This is a hands-on delivery role, ideal for someone who enjoys building solutions, influencing stakeholders and leaving a legacy through improved reporting capability. The Opportunity You'll take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of Workday reporting solutions, helping move the organisation away from spreadsheet-driven reporting towards a scalable, self-service environment. Key responsibilities will include: • Designing, developing and deploying Workday dashboards across Finance and wider business functions. • Partnering with Finance, FP&A, Commercial and Operational stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and prioritise reporting improvements. • Building Workday data sources, calculated fields and security models to ensure reporting is accurate, robust and user-friendly. • Leading pilot dashboard deployments, gathering user feedback and refining solutions before wider rollout. • Driving adoption of self-service reporting through training, stakeholder engagement and best practice guidance. • Working closely with the internal Workday team to maximise platform capability and resolve technical challenges. • Producing clear documentation, governance and ownership processes to ensure a sustainable reporting environment beyond the contract. • Monitoring project milestones and KPIs while identifying wider reporting and process improvement opportunities.
