Pear Recruiter - Lettings Manager – Colindale Salary Basic £30,000 OTE £50,000 - £60,000 Driving Licence and own car required Our client, based in Colindale, is seeking an experienced and driven Lettings Manager to lead their successful branch and continue delivering exceptional results in one of Northwest London's fastest-growing property markets. Their award-winning estate agency has decades of experience in London's residential property sector. Renowned for its outstanding customer service, extensive international reach, and expert local market knowledge, the company has built an excellent reputation for helping landlords, tenants, and investors achieve their property goals. As lettings Manager you will be managing a team so ideally you will have a minimum 2-years Lettings experience with recent experience in a senior role managing a team of Negotiators. You will build the lettings side of the business to increase market share and make the company more profitable. Working on behalf of the Directors you endeavour to monitor the lettings process to ensure that all procedures are adhered to in accordance with property law and legislation. To support, train and advise the lettings team to meet and exceed all targets as required. Responsibilities: • Attend to valuations and negotiate prices with Landlords to achieve a larger property portfolio • Manage the office and team to a high standard • Monitor overall and individual performance of all lettings team including property managers and administrators/co-ordinators • Liaise with Directors on staff performance, market conditions and any issues that arise • Maintain a strong relationship with all Landlords to help you acquire future business with them • Dealing with enquiries daily including walk ins, telephone and email queries • Oversee and contribute to any marketing ideas/campaigns • Ensure staff are updating all details on the website/window display with current properties any new instructions must be advertised promptly and effectively • Promote additional services to existing clients and customers • Be aware of competitor performance and activity Skills: • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Strong negotiation skills • Knowledge of property law • Trustworthy and genuine persona • Target and performance managing skills required • Able to work in a fast-paced target driven environment • Candidates must own a car and hold a valid driving licence • Industry recognised qualifications such as ARLA are advantageous but not essential Knowledge of certain databases/systems are advantageous.
