Job description: • Carry out routine servicing of lift equipment, including minor repair work and the routine replacement of components and in accordance with approved company procedures (PPE, PDA, Expert+ etc) • To rectify and reduce faults on lift equipment in cases of breakdown and check to confirm correct functioning • Checking the lift function as part of maintenance, checks to include, speed, motor start/stop, weight, noise, temperature and power supplies using approved company issued tooling and protective equipment • Conduct the routine inspection and adjustment of lift in accordance with approved procedures. Reinstate lift and complete service documentation • Carrying out more advanced fault finding and diagnostic procedures using a range of techniques, technical manuals and appropriate test equipment, restoring equipment to service. • Conduct site surveys Profile description: • Previous experience in lift servicing, maintenance or repairs is preferred • NVQ Level 3 in Lift Maintenance (or an equivalent qualification) • Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, with experience working on multi-brand equipment • Excellent fault-finding, diagnostic and problem-solving skills • A full UK driving licence • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and maintain high standards of efficiency • Confident working independently, with a flexible and proactive approach • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, Service Leaders and Inspectors • Good manual dexterity, with the ability to safely use hands, arms and feet for repetitive tasks, operate hand and power tools, and complete written records We offer: • Attractive Salary • Company Van (for eligible roles) with a fuel card and parking expenses covered while you’re on shift. • 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, and an annual paid volunteering day • Pension scheme with company contribution • Comprehensive life assurance • Enhanced family leave • Private medical cover with a trusted provider, plus 24/7 virtual GP access • Employee Assistance Programme offering confidential support • Free eye tests and eyewear discounts • Access to a range of employee benefits, including Tech and Cycle to Work schemes, plus exclusive retailer discounts
