MIG Welder Roles and Responsibilities: • Perform high-quality MIG welding • Work with a range of metals, including stainless steel, structural steel and mild steel • Fabricate and weld components of varying thicknesses • Accurately read and interpret engineering drawings • Operate a variety of hand and power tools • Maintain high workmanship standards across all tasks • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and procedures MIG Welder Ideal Candidate: • Proven MIG welding experience • Previous experience working with structural steel, mild and stainless steel • Ability to confidently read and work from engineering drawings • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality MIG Welder Working Hours and Benefits: • Monday - Thursday, 07:50 – 17:00 • Fridays, 07:50 – 14:30 • 40 hour working week • 30 minute lunch break and 10 minute break in the morning • Overtime available in the morning (07:20 – 07:50) • Overtime on a Friday Afternoon (14:30 – 16:00) • Company Pension • On-site parking • Life insurance • Cycle to work scheme Jackie Kerr Recruitment is an independent agency that has been established for 28 years.
