Personal Assistant • Job Type: Temporary, Full-time (Office Based) • Location: Oldham, OL1 1AL • Duration: Till 31/1/27 • Pay: £16.23 per hour PAYE • Working Hours: 8:30am till 4:30pm Oldham Council are seeking a highly organized and proactive Personal Assistant to support senior management with a wide range of administrative tasks. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient management of executive schedules, meetings, and communications. Day-to-Day of the Role: • Manage and coordinate the executive's diary, email, and schedule to optimize their time. • Organize meetings, including setting agendas, taking minutes, and following up on actions. • Prepare and coordinate papers for meetings and ensure all necessary documentation is available and organized. • Screen emails and calls, prioritizing them based on urgency and relevance. • Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity. • Support the executive team in administrative tasks such as travel arrangements, event planning, and conference coordination. • Maintain high standards of data management and filing systems, both manual and electronic. • Proactively handle complaints and enquiries, ensuring timely and appropriate responses. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or similar role supporting senior management. • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work. • Strong communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information. • Substantial experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). • Experience in minute-taking and managing corporate communications. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating loyalty and a high level of confidentiality. • Familiarity with basic financial and administrative protocols.
