If so, we'd love to hear from you.A welcoming secondary school in Barnsley is looking for a Receptionist to join their team from SEPTEMBER. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the daily life of a school, acting as the first point of contact for pupils, parents, visitors, and staff. Your new role No two days are the same! Your duties will include: Meeting and greeting visitors with a warm and professional manner Managing the busy school telephone system Responding to emails and enquiries Signing visitors and contractors in and out of the school site Processing deliveries and incoming post Providing administrative support across the school Supporting the smooth running of the reception What you'll need to succeed We are keen to speak with candidates who are: Friendly, professional, and confident communicating with a wide range of people Experienced in administration or reception-based roles Competent using IT systems and Microsoft Office Able to multitask and prioritise effectively Calm under pressure with excellent attention to detail Proactive and able to use their own initiative Reliable, organised, and a strong team We will need to be able to obtain references to cover the last 2 years as a minimum and you will need to be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check if you don't already have a DBS on the update service.
