Sleep Nurse Associate

7. To be able to prepare and set up the sleep recording equipment in the inpatient sleep room. 8. To attend and assist in sleep reporting sessions with the consultant in the absence of the band 6 or 7. 9. Assess patients compliance with treatment and utilise techniques to improve their compliance thus maximising effectiveness of therapy. 10. Maintaining patient records and data bases. 11. Provide professional and specialist Knowledge, advice, and training to medical and nursing staff where appropriate on management of patients requiring CPAP or Non-invasive ventilation. 12. Inpatient visits for patients requiring NIV or mask issues. 13. Take responsibility for, prioritise and manage own workload under appropriate direction.
