Job description

We are looking for experienced Welders to join our client’s team on the Pools, Tanks, and Liners project at Hinkley Point C— one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure and energy developments. TIG Welder Hourly rate of £29.34 + Overtime up to £52.82 per hour 10–11-hour shift (Day and Nights) Week 1: 10 days on, 4 days off Week 2: 9 days on 5 days off Site Based at Hinkley Point, Bridgewater TIG Welder Job Description • Carry out high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel components and structures to strict engineering standards. • Perform welding in accordance with approved procedures, with FCAW experience considered advantageous. • Interpret and work from detailed technical drawings, specifications, and welding procedures. • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure weld quality and integrity. • Maintain full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times. • Collaborate with supervisors and other trades to support efficient site operations and meet project deadlines. TIG Welder Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications • Proven experience in TIG welding, specifically with stainless steel. • Certification and experience working to BS EN ISO 9606-1 and BTS 3.01 standards. • Strong understanding of quality control and site safety practices. • Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings. • Full right to work in the UK (BPSS clearance will be conducted for the successful candidate) TIG Welder Company Benefits • Daily Expenses: £38 per day, available year-round • Travel Support: Paid travel time (up to 5 hours, depending on location) • Overtime Available If you feel you’re a good fit for this position, please click ‘apply’
