Our Client, a Yorkshire council is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their CP Team. Fantastic payrate of £35 per hour! Responsibilities of this role: • Manage a caseload of Child Protection cases, ensuring children are safeguarded and protected from harm through effective assessment, planning, and intervention. • Undertake statutory visits, assessments, and direct work with children and families to identify risks, strengths, and support needs. • Develop, implement, and review Child Protection Plans, ensuring actions are outcome-focused and completed within statutory timescales. • Build effective relationships with children, families, and partner agencies to promote engagement and improve outcomes. • Attend and contribute to Strategy Discussions, Child Protection Conferences, Core Groups, and other multi-agency safeguarding meetings. • Assess and manage risk, taking appropriate action to safeguard children and responding promptly to emerging concerns. • Work collaboratively with partner agencies to coordinate interventions and ensure children receive the support and protection they need. • Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case records, assessments, and court reports in line with statutory requirements and professional standards.
