Our Client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their Help & Protect Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
• Manage a caseload of children and families requiring support and safeguarding intervention, ensuring risks are identified and addressed effectively.
• Undertake statutory assessments, visits, and direct work with children and families to understand needs, strengths, and areas of concern.
• Develop, implement, and review Help and Protect plans to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes.
• Build effective relationships with children, young people, and families, ensuring their voices inform assessment and planning.
• Work collaboratively with partner agencies to coordinate interventions and provide timely support to children and families.
• Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings, strategy discussions, child protection conferences, and reviews as required.
• Assess and manage safeguarding risks, taking appropriate action to protect vulnerable children and reduce the need for escalation.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case records, assessments, and reports in accordance with statutory requirements and professional standards.
Requirements of this role:
• Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
• Must have minimum of 3 year's experience working as a Qualified social worker
