Our Client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their LAC/Care Leavers Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
• Manage a caseload of Looked After Children and Care Leavers, ensuring statutory responsibilities are met and positive outcomes are achieved.
• Complete assessments, care plans, pathway plans, and reviews in line with legislation and local procedures.
• Undertake regular visits and direct work with children and young people, ensuring their views and wishes inform decision-making.
• Support care leavers in their transition to independence, including access to education, employment, training, housing, and health services.
• Work collaboratively with families, carers, partner agencies, and professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.
• Attend and contribute to Child Looked After Reviews, pathway planning meetings, and other multi-agency forums.
• Identify and manage risks, taking appropriate safeguarding action to protect vulnerable children and young people.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case records, reports, and assessments in accordance with statutory requirements and professional standards.
Requirements of this role:
• Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
• Must have minimum of 3 year's experience working as a Qualified social worker
