Our Client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their CWD Team. Fantastic payrate of £35 per hour! Responsibilities of this role: • Manage a caseload of children and young people with disabilities, ensuring their needs are assessed and support plans are implemented effectively. • Undertake statutory assessments, Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children responsibilities in line with legislation and statutory guidance. • Work directly with children, young people, and their families to identify strengths, needs, and desired outcomes, ensuring their voices inform planning and decision-making. • Develop and review care plans, support packages, and interventions that promote safety, wellbeing, independence, and positive outcomes. • Collaborate with education, health, and other partner agencies to provide coordinated, multi-agency support for children and families. • Identify, assess, and manage safeguarding risks, taking appropriate action to protect vulnerable children and young people. • Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings, reviews, and conferences, providing professional advice and recommendations. • Maintain accurate and timely case records, assessments, and reports, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and professional standards.
